HBS. Healhtcare Building System

NIBUG (New Industrialised Building Generation) has been collaborating with specialists for more than 10 years to develop industrialised building projects, always bearing in mind that society must evolve towards more sustainable and effective forms of building that can quickly cover the needs of the population where these buildings are located

In cooperation with Mario Corea Arquitectos, possibly one of the most experienced firms in the hospital architecture world, and CT Ingenieros, the only Spanish company officially approved by the Airbus Group to provide engineering services, employing a team of professionals with more than 15 years of experience in building industrialisation, it created the HBS system (Healthcare Building System) for manufacturing hospitals.

Healthcare Building System (HBS) is an innovative industrialised building plan that uses the repetition of a module with minimal dimensions to create a highly-complex hospital.

Instead of a single and closed design, its functional plan, design and variety can be adapted to the needs and to the budget of each country or the region where it is to be erected.

The HBS system makes it possible to improve the health of the more under-privileged populations and regions.

HBS was presented in 28º Congreso de Arquitectura e Ingeniería Hospitalaria de Argentina. The HBS’ architectonic project, signed by Mario Corea and Hernán Gastelu, appeared in Anuario 2017 AADAIH.
