From 4 to 7th of October will take place the 28th edition Congreso Latinoamericano de Arquitectura e Ingeniería Hospitalaria AADAIH in ArgentinaThe motto this year is “Hospital without boundaries” and in turns around the hospital as:

  • technology concentrator
  • open to the community
  • public o private character
  • respectful of culture heritage
  • process content
  • media impact

Anyway, NIBUG together with Marité Alonso (Unique) took a candidature in order to give a lecture on the theme “Hospital, as a technology concentrator” in order to introduce and publicize the HBS project: a system that integrates new technologies : planning, construction and management such as Lean Construction, BIM and offsite manufacturing to build and also to manage hospital maintenance. These methods allow building more efficiently and obtaining total control of the budget, time and the final quality of the product, as they industrialize the production processes. Not only that, but methodologies such as BIM allow the information introduced from the beginning of the project to manage the maintenance of the building in a more efficient way, knowing the warranty time, the budget of materials, spare parts, the location of these, etc.

Marité Alonso will be in charge of giving the lecture at AADAIH. From NIBUG we are very proud to have been accepted by the Congress Scientific Committee to have the opportunity to present the HBS project.
